Today my wife and I went to the grocery store to get qualifying food for Phase 1 of the “Fat Smash” diet. This diet is a 90-day program built around smart food choices and exercise. For phase 1, we’re basically only allowed raw fruits and vegetables.

It specifically says NO breads, meats, or cheeses for 9 days. 9 DAYS! …of NO meat!? Those 3 things are my sustenance. I guess this is why I’ve never been able to lose the weight I want to. I’ll update tomorrow, but I can safely say that this will be the longest I’ve ever gone without meat. I’m a bit of a carnivore and I HATE green vegetables, so my diet is going to be drastically challenged. The good news is, I can eat as much as often as I want, as long as it’s a fruit or veggie, and in 9 days I get my meat back thankfully. Can’t wait.

This is the last meal with meat and cheese that I’ll see for another 9 days. :’(
